The Huge Value in Sending Fine Art Greeting Cards to Your Friends

If you're at all like me, you may have a very long list of birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and all sorts of special occasions that you have to remember. So you probably have a list of these in your diary to remind you. But it's not always easy to decide what type of card to send, is it? And that's because everyone likes something different. So I'm writing this article with you in mind to show you the huge value in sending fine art greeting cards to your friends.

Fine art nowadays can cost a lot of money and since it's quite a big investment, people don't like to be rushed and need to be sure they're buying something they'll like for a long time to come. However, very many artists now offer wide selections of greeting cards for potential customers to buy and enjoy before committing to a sale.

I'm sure you've been to a gallery or some sort of show and have gone into the gift shop afterward to pick up one or two souvenirs. And in amongst all the lovely mementos you've found some racks of attractive cards with prints of lots of the gorgeous works of art you've just been looking at. Well, I've been in that situation many times and I've been really glad to be able to pick up a handful of them to have a home, ready for all those occasions that tip-toe up from behind and surprise me.

Just think of how versatile they are. First of all, they're mostly left blank inside so that you can use them for anything you need them for. Your sister's birthday, a thank you to your neighbour for looking after your little one, or maybe a congratulation note to your nephew who's just passed his driving test.

Now I know that many of you like to send ecards. But how lasting are they in reality? You may look at them once or twice and enjoy showing them to your family. And that's about it.

But when you've been sent a fine art greeting card, you have so many more options. It's a fact that you hold onto a physical card much longer that its electronic counterpart. You can pin it up on your notice board so that you can see it every time you pass. You can prop it up on your mantelpiece next to a vase of flowers and just enjoy its prettiness.

Best of all though, you can buy a little frame and put your card in it and hang it on the wall. No-one will know whether you invested in a quality print or whether it was a greeting card you were sent for your birthday. Now that's value, as the picture can continue to hang there for years to come and bring you unlimited pleasure.

And a friend who receives a potential work of art will truly know that you value them highly.
