How to Wear Animal Print Jewelry

You can find both fine and costume versions of animal print jewelry. This could work for anyone from a teenager all the way up to a senior citizen. It's a way to really show off your sense of personality and show the world that you can really have a lot of art with your accessories. These are very daring items but they don't have to be expensive. Here are a few different tips on how to wear these in a very fashion forward manner.

Try going with a yellow gold. You can also just go with a gold tone if you are buying costume jewelry. This is important because the warmth of gold is really going to relate back to the rich brown colors. The one exception to this kind of rule is that of the zebra print. Of course this has a lot of white and black in it. In this case it's perfectly acceptable to go with a silver tone. You really don't want to add any more contrast than you really need to. The pattern itself has tons of contrast in it so you want the metal to match as closely as possible. This will really give more of a high end look so the focus will be all about the different alligator, Tiger, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, snake or whatever animal you choose.

Experiment with different materials. Of course almost any kind of jewelry piece is going to be using a faux version. In this case, why not just use costume jewelry? You could really experiment with all different kinds of fun plastics and glasses. This is a way to get very large jewelry that can be the focal point of your entire outfit. Plus it really will save you a lot of money and you can explore all different kinds of textures and colors.

The opposite would be to go with a very high end piece. For instance, you can find a lot of very beautiful snake inspired rings. These often have multiple colors of diamonds in blue, purple, brown, champagne, and black. You might even be able to find a zebra striped paired with a white diamond. This will really give a classy and more elegant feature to this kind of jewelry even if it ups the price tag quite a bit.

Avoid sets. Since this kind of jewelry is so dramatic then you'll probably just want to wear one piece at a time. Keep the rest of your jewelry quite neutral. Another option for this would just be too pair a leopard print ring with gold earrings and a cool necklace. You could also use a lot of different gold bangle bracelets. This allows you to incorporate a lot of the jewelry that you already have in your jewelry box but just use it in a much more bold manner. This also allows you to mix in costume jewelry with high-end pieces that can even relate back to your engagement ring for a very cohesive look.
